INGREDIENTS, CONTENTS and SPECIFIC FUNCTION

• Milk Thistle (Silybum marianum) 96g/L Assists the detoxification process which can generate a higher level of free radicals in the body. Silymarin, the best known active ingredient, is a potent anti-oxidant especially effective in helping to cleanse the liver of free radicals.
• Ho Shou Wu/Fo Ti (Polygonum multiflorum) 56g/L Used in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) to “tonify” and replenish the “vital energy” to the liver. Studies have shown that this herb can increase blood flow to the liver, which increased the rate of drainage of toxins from the liver.
• Burdock 72g/L This herb has traditionally been used as a blood cleanser and a purifier for the liver. It is a very good source of Inulin, which stimulates the immune system
• Dandelion 72g/L Increases bile production and flow and the rate of liver detoxification. Studies have shown Dandelion exhibits a protective effect on the liver and is able to reverse mild cases of liver cirrhosis.
• Chinese Wormwood (Artemisia capillaris) 72g/L Increases secretion of bile into the gastrointestinal tract thus aiding the liver in draining its waste products. This herb, in combination with Gardenia jasminoidis, has been shown to increase the rate of liver cell regeneration.
• Fructus lycii chinensis 72g/L Acts to protect liver cells and hence liver function. In TCM, this herb has been used to treat liver ailments.
• Gardenia jasminoidis 72g/L In combination with Chinese Wormwood, increases liver cell regeneration and has been shown to increase bile secretion.
• Curcuma zedoria 38g/L
• Hypericum japonicum 38g/L
• Anti-oxidants which specifically target the liver.

Suggested dose for adults: Take 1-2 tablespoons per day or as directed by your health care practitioner. Shake well before use. Refrigerate after opening.

Indications: Cleanses the liver, promotes liver regeneration and provides antioxidants to the liver tissue for support.
