St. John’s Wort Extract – Omega Alpha Pharmaceuticals

This product is a 1:1 Extract (50 g per 50 ml) of St. John’s Wort in a 50 ml base of 20% ethanol and 80% distilled water. Although more care is needed for proper extraction, the lower than normal alcohol content preserves the active ingredients to promote maximum activity.

Indications: This all-natural product may be used as an antiviral and antibiotic agent and can increase the healing rate of burns and wounds. St. John’s Wort Extract can also be used to alleviate symptoms of mild depression including anxiety, apathy, insomnia and low self-esteem.

Suggested dose for adults: One half to 1 teaspoon 3-5 times per day in water or juice on an empty stomach, or as directed by your health care practitioner. Shake well before use. Refrigerate after opening.
